Unabashed Suburban owner. I want one, 4WD (not Z71) with the diesel please. And since I like h ard to fix problems, give me the air suspension also.

Current Suburban looks great.
That’s hideous.

Just get the extended b2b warranty out to 7 years/ 100k miles.

Yes. Also, there is no way (unless I win the lottery) I will buy a new one. They hold value well, but I can't bring myself to spend that much.

Agree on the first point.
I’m on the “ok” side of the redesign. They had to refresh, and the IRS gives more third row room for those of us who use it (4 kids). And diesel.
Full disclosure - my first vehicle was an 82 ‘ burb with the 6.2L NA diesel. It was glorious and indestructible.

If you can afford that vehicle new, then it would probably be a better idea to go buy a slightly used latest model Navigator. GOD those things are HAWT.

It’s the grille I hate.
And square body Suburbans are THE Suburban to me - when I was growing up that’s what a Suburban WAS. And Suburbans are

I quite like it. Especially now that they offer the Duramax, finally.

Ba ck quickly.. wow those are holding value well.

I dislike the DLO fail panel in the C-pillar, but the maw/grille definitely looks better in this trim.

Okay but wtf is that mess? It’s like they talked to Toyota about the Avalon and were all “let me tell you what you gotta do”

It’s interesting how much worse the Z71 is. Normally that’s the best-looking one.
I actually like this alot, Z71 aside. It’s similar to the Silverado, but much easier on the eyes to me. The front is less awkwardly flat, it has a bit more dimensionality to it and seems better integrated into the rest of the design.
It helps that I never really warmed to the old one.

It looks fine - even with that Cylon Centurion looking front clip. Like the new capabilities, they’ll sell a crapload of them.

It’s not bad but it could be massively improved with a different front bumper. There’s too much going on under the headlights, ditch the cheeks.

I'm with you on this one. That front quarter panel and front end....ugh.

If you put a foil-wrapped plastic rectangle around it, you could call it a Ford

You could swap the front as soon as you could find one with massive rear end damage.

Is it just me or does it look stumpy? Like the front wheels are too far forward or there's not enough in front of them.

if you are blind then yes it looks good

To me it looks like they are trying to go for a mix of Silverado and 4 runner and got carried away with the grill

Agreed that trim level suburban just fits. The grill is just an evolution of the previous. I dont get the knocks on the more luxury trims and the interior was actually done well for once. Nothing mind blowing but works for what people want
